Many pieces were made into "TV Lamps" in the 50's (so we didn't strain our eyes watching TV in the dark, you know!)

Bulldog Planter

Haeger's dog Planters are pretty ubiquitous. They were produced in the late 50's and early 60's in great numbers. Here's the bulldog version.

German Shepherd Dog

Lovely pale opal white color, seen on Ebay. We also have one painted by an amateur, which suggests this model was also sold as green-ware to ceramicists.

We really wanted these when they were on eBay, but we were outbid (They went for $260) This is aterrierlamps.jpg (132162 bytes) pair of lamps, dark mauve in color and measure 10 1/4" tall (pottery portion, total height of 21") by 8" long by 5 1/2" deep.
